this is an expert level piece. theres something about the colours in this palette that gives the whole piece a genuine feeling of warmth, safety and endearment. the character work is excellent, spot on as always of course. But the colour work on the whole piece is almost clinical in the way they all work together to target particular feelings

this character has a really charming, disarming smile
the checkered scarf breathes personality into this character
this looks like a quick piece so I'd love to see this character in more tighter cleaned up pieces in the future. Theres a real "support character" kind of vibe radiating from this one

beautiful fantastic work...
hard to look at but amazing work nonetheless

the pose at the end I love cause its so dynamic and juxtaposes beautifully with the first panel
the princess turns out quite lively and animated despite the still image look and filter the image has.
my only gripe with this great piece is that the slice of white in the background with the unfinished tree above the characters heads in the first panel distracts a bit too much from what should be the central eye focus (the characters)

amazing what a colour swap can do, love this but now the dilemma arises... do I prefer classic max or goth max?

this is fantastic character design, everything from the colours, expression on the face and the clothing tell different facets of the subject. Beautifully detailed and the wonderfully simple silhouette almost have me believe I'm looking at a character from a classic, critically acclaimed anime
